Proceedings

The conference proceedings of the BDS2004 will be published in a special issue of the Journal of  Non-Crystalline Solids or (guest editors: G. Williams, J. van Turnhout, M. Wübbenhorst). Each participant, who is presenting author of an accepted paper, has the possibility to submit one manuscript. Manuscripts must contain original material, should be written in good English and should be prepared according to the journal's instructions for authors (download here). The lenght of the manuscript should be such that the final article does not exceed a page limit of 6 (printed journal) pages for contributed papers and 10 pages for invited papers.

Manuscripts must be entered in electronic form into the Elsevier Editorial System at http://www.ees.elsevier.com/noc/. All manuscript will be reviewed in the normal way.   

Extended deadline for submission of manuscripts is 15 September 2004. 

If you wish to order a hard copy of the Special Issue, please fill in the downloadable order form and return it not later than 15 September.
