It isn't allways easy to setup the connection between LabVIEW and your Bronkhorst mass flow controllers. Even with both the LabVIEW manual and hardware specific information, connecting the two may be troublesome.

Principle

Getting a reading from your Bronkhorst control unit works like this:

1. run the DDE server; FLOWDDE32
2. for all channels create a DDE reference
3. for all channels request to read the process value
4. at fixed time intervals repeat the previous step until the STOP button in pressed
5. for all channels remove the DDE reference (in reverse order)
