Flyash: Generation, Treatment, Metal Recovery and Disposal
Many kinds of fly ash are produced in the municipal incineration plants, electric power station using coal, pyrometallurgical plant and other metal processing plants. They are collected in an electric precipitator and a bag filter. The fly ash often contains metals such as Zn, Pb, Cu Cd having high vapor pressure and a small amount of other metals, which should be recovered. At the same time the recovery of metals leads to removal of harmful materials from fly ash. The session will cover the above topics and related areas.
