Arrival and departure times


A welcome reception for the participants and the accompanying persons is given on Sunday, August 22, 2004, at 6:00 pm at the conference site, DelftChemTech building, Julianalaan 136.

The scientific program starts on Monday morning, August 23, at 9:00 am and will close on Thursday, August 26, around 4:00 pm.

 

 

Transport


By plane:

From Schiphol (Amsterdam airport) approx. 1 h travel by train to Delft Central Station (CS) via The Hague; Taxi from Schiphol is also available but expensive (~ € 100).

 

By train and bus:

There are several direct international train connections (info) to The Hague and Rotterdam, from where local trains are available to Delft Centraal (CS).

From the train station, most of the Delft hotels as well as the University campus are within walking distance (~ 15 min.). Alternatively, busses (lines 63 or 129) and taxi's are available.

 

By car:

Den Haag (The Hague)/Rotterdam (A13), exit Delft Zuid (TU campus) or Delft Centrum (IKEA). For more details see the conference website.

 

 

Passport and visa


Non EU (European Union) participants should check with their travel agents, local Dutch embassy or consulate to see if they require a visa to enter The Netherlands.
